Bathroom plumbing
Replacing a bathroom suite is one of the more disruptive jobs in a house, so it pays to have the plumbing thought through first — where the waste runs, whether the existing pipework will take a new shower, and how long the water needs to be off. We go through all of that before any tiles come off.

Leaks and repairs
A lot of the older housing around Ashton-under-Lyne, Stalybridge and Hyde still has original pipework hidden under floors and behind plaster. When a leak appears, the damp patch is usually some distance from the actual fault. We trace it properly first so the repair stays as small and tidy as possible.

Good to know
Plumbing questions we're often asked
What should I do if I have a burst pipe?
Turn the water off at the internal stop tap (usually under the kitchen sink or in a downstairs cupboard), open the cold taps to drain the system, and switch off the electrics if water is anywhere near them. Then call us — burst pipes are treated as a priority.
Do you cover both houses and business premises?
Yes. We carry out domestic plumbing across Tameside and also work with landlords, shops, offices and small industrial units around Greater Manchester.
Can you find a leak if I can't see where it's coming from?
Often, yes. Damp patches rarely appear directly under the leak, so we trace it back before opening anything up — that keeps the repair as small as possible.
Why is my water pressure low?
It can be the stop tap not fully open, scaled-up pipework or fittings, a failing pressure-reducing valve, or an issue with the incoming supply. We check the likely causes in order rather than guessing.
